I hope everyone is in good health as we move forward in these interesting times. For week two we will be continuing or fitness challenges with the same format as before. This week the exercise is burpees. My suggestion is to do anywhere between 1 to 5 burpees per minute for 15 minutes. As always, adjust it to what works for you but don't be afraid to challenge yourself. Our skill this week scratches the surface on some soccer skills. I demonstrate speed touches and inside touches. For beginners it is a great way to get cardio and understand how to control the ball. For those of you who have some experience it can be used as a good warm-up or a way to challenge yourself to be precise and detailed in your ball control as you work a combination of speed and control. Lastly, I encourage you all to find other physical activities that you enjoy to keep you active. Remember, as you grow older you tend to only do physical activity that you enjoy and everyone is a little different when it comes to that. Now is your time to find out what those exercises and activities are. So have some fun and get a little sweat going!
